BRO. J. RICE Bro. Jerry Rice

Bro. Rice is a Pro Bowl Wide Receiver for the San Francisco 49ers. The 1996-97 season saw him become the first player in NFL history to top 1,000 receptions and 16,000 career receiving yards, along with 108 receptions. Rice has a total of 164 career TDs. Rice revered by many as the best WR ever to play the game.

Recorded a career-high 12 tackles, including 11 solo, to help pace a 26-22 win over San Diego (9/21). Forced fumbles at Denver (11/2) and at Oakland (12/14). Picked off his only pass of the season versus San Francisco (12/21) while also leading the team with four passes defensed.

Bro. Davis was recently traded to the Tennessee Titans from the Kansas City Chiefs at the end of the '97 season. In '96 became the first Kansas City Chief's receiver to lead the club in receiving yardage for four consecutive years since Otis Taylor (1970-73). he also led the Chiefs in receiving yards for the fourth consecutive and tied for team lead in TD receptions

Bro. Daniels Speed pass rusher who began power-lifting competitively in the and gained 25 pounds of muscle. Chosen on the fourth round of the 1996 draft. Seahawks traded fourth and fifth round 1996 choices to the Jacksonville Jaguars on the second day of the draft to move up in the fourth round. Played as a reserve as a rookie before earning a starting position.

Bro. Green is a hard-hitting and sure-tackling DB for the New York Jets,  has led the team in tackles 2 of the past 3 seasons. Bro. Malone is an NBA All-Star, Power Forward for the Utah Jazz named the "NBA's 50 Greats". The "Mail Man" as he is known around the NBA, was an Olympic Gold Medallist as a member of Dream Team I. He has been an NBA All-Star Game MVP, and  also won the 1997 and 1999 NBA MVP awards.  He is also currently third on the NBA all-time leading scoring list.


BRO. O. POLYNICE Bro. Olden Polynice

Bro. Polynice is the newly traded starting center for the Seattle Supersonic, who led the Sacramento Kings in rebounding at 9.4 rpg, ranking 17th in the NBA. He started every game last season. He scored in double figures 57 times, with 20 points or more 11 times and 32 double-doubles. Bro. Davis was the first defensive lineman to combine size with devastating speed. Bro. Davis made his mark as a stalwart on the dominant Packers' teams of the 1960s. Five straight Pro Bowl years, 21 fumble recoveries, 162 straight games played, and 5 NFL championships are testaments to Davis' dominance. As a role model, Willie Davis set an example for all children to emulate. As a player, he did the same for defensive lineman.

Bro. Brock was named the greatest base stealer of his era, he was only the 14th player to have 3,000 hits. In 1964 he fueled the Cardinals to a World Series victory. During his 19-year career, the outfielder stole an unprecedented 938 bases and broke several World Series records, including hitting .391 in over 20 World Series games. He entered the Baseball Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 1985.

Bro. BRO. K. NKRUMAH The Honorable Bro. Kwame Nkrumah

Bro. Nkrumah (1909-72), first prime minister (1957-60) and president (1960-66) of Ghana. A firm believer in African liberation, Nkrumah pursued a radical pan-African policy, playing a key role in the formation of the Organization of African Unity in 1963. As head of government, he was less successful, and as time passed he became increasingly dictatorial. Finally overthrown by the military in 1966, he spent his last years in exile, dying in Bucharest, Romania, on April 27, 1972.

Bro. Tolbert as President of Liberia he took over when Liberia was at its finest point in history. The foreign investments in industries like rubber, iron ore, and timber were seen in many counties in Liberia. Bro. Dr. Carver was a world renowned Scientist, Inventor, Former Slave, Educator, Scientist, Businessperson, Service Industry Employee, Agriculturist, Medical Worker, Artist, Author, Lecturer, and Performing Artist. He developed 325 different uses for the peanuts, over 100 uses for sweet potatoes, and countless others from various types of Southern plants.

 

BRO. I. L. Scruggs Bro. Dr. Ivorite L. Scruggs

Bro. Dr. Scruggs served as the director of the Erie County Cancer Society and he was an organizer of the Federated Negro Clubs of Buffalo. His memberships included: National Medical Association, Buffalo Medical Alliance, New York State Medical Association, American Medical Association. Dr. Scruggs was also founder of the Michigan Ave YMCA in 1923, the first WHITE person to serve on the Board of Directors of a Metropolitan YMCA in the US, a founder of the Buffalo Urban League in 1927. Dr. Scruggs practiced medicine for over 60 yrs and delivered 800 babies.
